Some of the more popular services we provide are 20 and 30 minute walks, overnight care within the client's home, and pet taxi services.
Currently, we are looking to add more team members to primarily to work mid-day during the week Monday-Friday.
We can provide overnight care within the client's home with along with part-time walks during normal walking hours, early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
An ideal candidate would need to be a well-organized animal lover who is at least 18 years of age (due to insurance purposes).

20 Minute Visit - $13 30 Minute Visit - $17 Overnight Care - $50 per night We are fast-paced and can make you as busy as you need.
That means 20-minute visits at $13 can become easily $26 an hour or more.
Reviews are held at your 3 months, 6 months, and 1-year mark which means that there is always room for opportunities and growth.
We also offer yearly bonuses and special holiday pay.

Green Oaks, Vernon Hills, Mundelein, Libertyville, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Lincolnshire, Mettawa, Highwood, Great Lakes, Fort Sheridan, Southeastern Gurnee.
It is not mandatory that you live in or near these areas, but if you happen to reside within 15 miles, it can definitely help increase your potential income with us.
Age:
Due to insurance purposes, we require our contractors to be 18 and over.
Animals We Care For:
We care for all animals and never discriminate.
Mainly we care for dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals, and reptiles.
(If you have any allergies, we can always work around that).
Fitness:
It is important that you are physically able to provide care by being able to accomplish what is asked of you during the time frame of a visit.
That can include but is not limited to walking for 20 minutes, feeding, getting fresh water, etc.
Professional Animal Care:
All of our clients have scheduled visits.
Some could possibly be overnight stays that cater to the animals' independent needs.
You will be required to fulfill the specific accommodations the clients have requested.
During your visits, you could possibly be asked to feed or administer medication.
Also, you could be tasked with collecting the garbage/recycling bins, collect mail, bring in packages, water plants when needed, etc.
Driving:
Having a reliable vehicle, current driver's license and auto insurance is required to work at A Walk For All Seasons.
You will be driving in your designated area from house to house caring for the animals at multiple locations throughout the day.
Time Management & Organization:
Being punctual is extremely important as you will be on a time frame with your scheduled visits.
A schedule may change quickly and you will need to be able to adapt.
Communication Skills:
Our clients like to be in contact with our team members to make sure their loved ones are being well cared for during their visit time.
Our team also communicates through text and as such it is required you have a smartphone.
Work As An Independent Contractor:
You will not be an employee of A Walk For All Seasons, but an independent contractor.
What that means is at the end of each year you will receive an IRS 1099 tax form, and will be responsible for paying your own taxes.
Taxes are not taken out automatically from your paychecks.
Experience:
Being an animal lover is the first step to becoming part of the pet care community.
We would prefer our applicants to have at least one year of pet care experience, but are open to pet enthusiasts.
Prior to being hired, you will also be required to pass a background check.
We do this as a service for our clients, as you will be entering their homes.
We also require you to be proficient in English.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
