Marketing Coordinator
Reports to
Director of Marketing Communications
Mission
Provides administrative support for Marketing. Participates in marketing/sales development shows and meetings. Maintains department records and files. Updates electronic information as needed. Manages other assigned tasks with department priorities in mind. Works in coordination with Director of Marketing Communications and Director of Product Development.
Principle Activities
? Facilitates creation and timely delivery of product literature that includes language updating, sales flyers and segment brochures (i.e. healthcare, consultant and chains)
? Maintains and updates trademarking and product certification records
? Creates and updates marketing graphics that effectively promote Scotsman's brand image utilizing the latest marketing trends and technology
? Assists in the development of promotional displays, panels and literature for trade shows
? Manages and tracks collateral and promotional materials by coordinating requirements within department
? Develops effective sales presentations and value added benefit presentations in coordination with sales team
? Monitors and reports on the market positioning of primary competitors (i.e. websites and trade publications)
? Assists in maintaining and updating websites with accurate information
? Assists in coordinating trade show activities including registration, travel arrangements, ordering, delivery and set up of displays, equipment and marketing collateral.
? Serve as communication support with internal teams for marketing initiatives, and insures presentation formats effectively align with brand positioning
Financial/Risk Control
? Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position
? Conduct in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times
Education / Experience
? BA/BS degree in Communications or Business Marketing
? 1 or more years of related work experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
? Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Creative Suite)
? Creative copywriting skills - ability to rework text for a broad audience
? Basic knowledge of CMS programs for website maintenance
? Computer proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Email skills
? High level of energy and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines
? Highly creative and open to share new ideas and modify work based on team feedback
? Team oriented in approach and interactive with others
? Demonstrated capacity to take on greater responsibilities as needed
Travel
Periodic local and possible overnight travel requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
