Consult with clients to understand their business requirements, review requirement documents, work on application design and preparation of business logic diagrams, assist with data validation and preparation of queries, develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases, responsible for functional, regression and integration testing of the applications, monitor systems performance, prepare pre- and post-implementation activities, create documentation regarding work flow to support the applications, provide peer review of design and coding of the applications, assist with production support, implement emergency changes as needed and provide status reports to management.
Work with DB2, COBOL, JCL, Java, J2EE, SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, Quality Center, CICS, Control-M, MQ Series, Windows, QMF and Visio. Bachelor's degree plus 60 months experience is required. Work site: Relocation for long and short term projects to client sites at varying unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. will be required. No telecommuting.
