Pricing Specialist

Major Responsibility:
Manage the product portfolio throughout the market / product life cycle. Evaluate product alternatives for addressing market needs.
Essential Tasks:
Responsible for all departmental pricing activities, related systems and tracking margin performance of spare parts and new / re-manufactured units with sales totaling $10 - 20 million.
Maintain all cost data and communicate to appropriate personnel the economic feasibility of existing and proposed programs.
With input from Business Unit Manager, establish and track unit and parts pricing, sales and business performance.
Provide input on prioritization and identification of marketing activities to the Marketing Manager as assigned.
Assist in developing aftermarket parts and sales budgets and forecasts.
Maintain all pricing factors including factory warranty price structure in ERP system as required.
Provide back up within department and perform related tasks as assigned.
Organizational Relationships: Reports to Business Unit Manager. Works with Technical Service, Purchasing, Planners, Account Managers and Marketing Manager.
Educational Requirements: BS/BA required Marketing or Business
Experience Requirements: 1-2years pricing experience required, automotive/mechanical expertise helpful. Familiarity within an ERP environment accessing and interpreting reports. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel, domestic and international may be requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
