Payment Integrity Compass seeks to impact hospitals' bottom line performance by delivering targeted revenue recovery solutions that ensure accurate claims reimbursement, improve workflow and payment collection, streamline contract negotiations, optimize cash flow and profitability, and ensure accurate implementation and compliance. The Role in Brief:
The Healthcare Technology Consultant is the primary relationship owner and onsite dedicated advisor for a single large health system performance technology client, responsible for ensuring that the client generates significant value from their partnership with the Advisory Board.
The Healthcare Technology Consultant translates the specific client needs and goals into action, including customizing the performance technology toolset, transforming data into easy-to-use dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses, and providing training, problem-solving and other services for business users.
Our current opportunity entails full time presence at the client site in Michigan, so relocation or willingness to travel 100% is required.

Responsibilities:
Client Management
Work with client as primary relationship manager and dedicated advisor to drive business outcomes
o Provide on-site assessments and consulting services
o Foster relationships with client executive teams
o Maintain and share business and technical expertise
o Train clients on the use of performance technology software
o Lead and facilitate client discussions and meetings
o Develop curricula, research documents, teaching plans, meeting agendas and other support materials

Analytics
# Analyze institutions' operational and financial performance
# Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive change management initiatives
# Document results
# Master the functionality of the performance technology software and develop expertise in product terrain
Project Management
o Partner with technical implementation team for successful configuration of the system during and post-implementation
o Identify potential issues that will impede success and recommend corrective action plans
o Partner with Account Management team to help drive renewals of membership programs
o Set and execute against project milestones
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR LEVEL
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Willingness to travel up to 100% (valid Driver's License) or move to client location
Experience working in Revenue Cycle Management or health care technology or Consulting
Project management experience
Possess 4
years of professional experience and at least two of the following:
o Consulting experience
o Master's degree or MBA
o Client management experience
o Experience presenting to senior executive level audience or facilitating training sessions
o Experience working at The Advisory Board Company
Ideal
Qualifications:
Master's degree in business, health care administration or other health care-related field
Background in health care consulting revenue cycle management
Knowledge and previous experience in health care revenue cycle
Experience performing root cause analysis
Ability to create compelling stories validated with data and proven best practice research
Ability to build client relationships that result in new business opportunities
Experience working within health care related data
Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and motivate others
Possess intellectual curiosity, persistence and creativity in problem solving
Team-oriented but also highly self -sufficient and self-motivated
DIRECTOR LEVEL
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree

years of professional experience and at least three of the following:
