Primary Function: The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing machine sales customer service, primarily in the areas of order input, communications, and sales administration.
Responsibilities: Data entry of all machine sales orders, price entry, purchase & sales orders, change orders, customs invoice, and/or cancellations. Data entry for purchase order reports, and machine & software purchase orders. Factory invoices (match to file, check pricing, file originals). Maintain sales brochures as well as sending out requests to sales reps. Departmental filing of new orders, back orders, and closed orders, and invoices. Support sales department by answering their phones and directing the calls to the appropriately. Maintain Sales Rep contact list. Maintain price listing. Coordinate sales meetings. Front desk receptionist duties. Make travel arrangements for department staff. Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Experience Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiciency in Microsoft office products Minimum education-High School Ability to solve problems, manage details, and prioritize requests quickly and efficiently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
