Our client is looking for someone who enjoys collaboration, fast paced environments and can articulate and communicate well with non-technical users.
This position configures, analyzes, and troubleshoots clinical, registration, administrative and other healthcare information systems used for delivery of patient care and other supporting functions.
This position consults with development, training, support, and field teammates to identify current operating procedures and to clarify objectives.
Position may write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections; may also write manuals for customers to describe released changes and new or current operating procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Tests, debugs, and implements procedures to support multiple teams.
Troubleshoots and assists with the resolution of application errors and other system issues.
Collaborates with clinical and business advisory groups to provide system solutions that support and enhance the adoption of electronic medical records and supporting components including system configuration, function, and access.
Evaluates customer requests for system changes, data retrieval requests, system performance problems, and optimization opportunities
Identifies, escalates, and charts system enhancement requests
Assists with the release and communication of system changes as well as ongoing maintenance support procedures
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Information Technology
3 years' experience with clinical applications or 3rd party applications
Understanding and ability to write basic SQL queries.
Healthcare background is preferred.
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; intermediate knowledge of MS SQL or PL/SQL
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
